Module  Description: 

This 1-hour self-paced learning module provides information on the importance of intentional community engagement and recommended strategies toward meaningful systems transformation. In this module, you will learn the importance of collaborative, deaf-led decision-making.

 

Learning objectives -  Participants will be able to:

  • Describe the impact of systemic inequities and marginalization on deaf people and deaf communities' experiences 
  • Correlate the role of community engagement and effective systems change/transformation
  • Name strategies for engaging deaf communities in systems change/transformation
