This is a one-hour, self-paced learning module designed to help you become familiar with the legal frameworks that ensure equitable participation opportunities in postsecondary education and training programs for deaf people. This module will help participants expand their knowledge of institutional responsibilities and provide you with resources to learn more.

In this module participants will identify:

  • Accessibility laws and other legal frameworks that offer responsibilities and requirements for postsecondary education and training programs
  • Considerations for ensuring effective communication for deaf people across postsecondary settings

This module is pre-approved for 1 NDC Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Clock Hour and 1 CRCC Clock Hour.
