Module Description:

This is a one-hour self-paced module that provides an overview of the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how they can be used to make online learning accessible for deaf people. Learners will become familiar with the essential concepts and principles of UDL as well as its applications to online learning for deaf people. The information in this module will provide a foundation for creating inclusive learning environments and promoting equitable access for deaf learners online.

Learning Objectives - Participants will be able to:

  • Define Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
  • State the three principles of UDL.
  • Describe some considerations of UDL applications in online learning for deaf people.
